Located in the heart of De Beauvoir, Islington N1, Sweet Thursday offers an eclectic, character-filled setting that’s ideal for film and photography shoots. With our welcoming vibe, quirky decor, and fun art on the walls, Sweet Thursday is a unique and versatile choice for any creative project. We also have The Cannery, our private dining space, nestled behind the main restaurant.
Our space has served as the backdrop for global campaigns from brands like Stella McCartney and Twix, as well as local photoshoots for influencers.

- Wi-Fi: We have high speed Wi-Fi available
- Flexible Layouts & The Cannery: The Cannery, our private dining space, can be used as a base, breakout space, or staging area.
- Power: We have 3 phase power. Both Sweet Thursday and The Cannery have plenty of plug points – The Cannery was originally fitted as a photographic studio.
- Easy Access: We have two entrances/exits, allowing straightforward equipment movement through the restaurant, or straight through to The Cannery from Southgate road.
- Parking permits can be arranged for easy crew and equipment access.
- Storage Options: Night storage is available in The Cannery, allowing you to securely leave equipment or set items overnight.
- Owner On-Call: With the owner nearby, we provide quick responses to any needs that arise during your shoot.
- Accessibility: Sweet Thursday is fully accessible, with one toilet in the Cannery and two in the main entrance, including disabled access.
- Lighting & Climate Control: Dimmable lights in both the main restaurant and Cannery, along with air conditioning and heating, ensure optimal conditions for every shot.
